But, the 2023 NRL season looks promising with some big signings and potential improvements. However, it's hard to pinpoint the key issue for the Broncos. This side was dominant early, sitting in the top 4 for large portions of the 2022 season. Unfortunately, they finished the season poorly, copping multiple 50+ point drubbings & sliding out of finals contention. It also doesn't help that Cobbo's in the media talking about Kevvy Walters being a poor coach...

Key Players

As previously mentioned, the Broncos have some big names in their forward pack, including Haas and Pat Carrigan. But, they also have an explosive halves pairing in Reynolds & Ezra Mam. These guys will be essential in helping the Broncos secure those tight wins.

It could be argued that Brisbane have the most explosive centre/wing combinations in the NRL. It's tough to pick just one guy out of Cobbo, Oates, Farnworth & Staggs. Saying that, an in form Kotoni Staggs is near unstoppable, so Brisbane will be looking his way a lot in the offensive red zone.

Overall, the Brisbane Broncos are looking stronger heading into the 2023 NRL season.
